I think you can use use

"call start C:/pathToOffice/office.exe" as a shell command and it will launch in a separate process. not sure if that is what you are talking about though.

Thanks! And I see I can also increase the margin to further control where the icon and text go.

The default location of an icon button seems to be directly above the button text; is there a way to make the icon appear to the left of the text?

If not, this would be a nice feature.
