There's a number of dialers you can find in the apple store. The native-union-pop-dialer is a cool example of apple allowing you to originate a call without restrictions and the need to use the native iphone keypad. I appreciate your help but just to clarify; this is not an impossible task. I have a paid for app today on my iphone that does this by sending the call over the cellular channel, (not SIP using the data networks), but it does not really fit my needs. It does have it's own keypad so it does not do it...
