Thanks Simon,
I'll have a look at that.
Much Appreciated

Re: iPad reading data from directory and Controlling desktop
Hi Simon, sorry I didn't explain myself that well. Initially my question is this. Is it possible, using LiveCode, for an iPad app to affect an app running on a desktop. For example: Desktop - running a quiz program (written in LivveCode), displayed on a screen / projector. iPad app - this would hope...

iPad reading data from directory and Controlling desktop App
Hi All, I've had a little play with LiveCode and it looks great, but I was wondering (and I realise this may be me running before I can walk, but it's normally the way I learn best :-) ) if it is possible to do something like this. But first a bit of background: I currently have a quiz which runs in...

Re: Free Developer Program Gone?
OK, I must be doing something stupid here, but I can't use the Test button to try in a simulator. I am only trying existing scripts at the moment, just trying to get a feel for everything. I have Xcode 5.0.2 installed, and in Mobile Preferences it is pointing to the correct place. It says I have iPh...

Re: Free Developer Program Gone?
Thanks for all the replies.
I have the mobile preferences looking at my Xcode app, but I still don't see the option to test in the simulator (Test icon is greyed out)
I'll have another look tomorrow when I am slightly more awake to confirm.
Thanks
Wayne.

Re: Free Developer Program Gone?
OK, I must be doing something wrong then as I can't seem to get a provisioning profile without paying to become part of the iOS Developer Program. I can run the simulator in X-Code but for free, Live Code won't let me run the simulator, or even create and iOS Standalone, without this profile - but a...

Re: Free Developer Program Gone?
Thanks Klaus,
Think RunRev need to update their documentation then as it still says that you can get the certificates for free.
Rather frustrating as I am only a hobbyist but there you go.
Thanks Again

Free Developer Program Gone?
Hi, I am a newbie to LiveCode, but trying to look at all the options. Am I being a bit stupid, or is it now impossible to get the required certificates to test on an IOS device from LiveCode for free, and instead now have to pay th $99 (or £60) to be part of the developer program. I don't really wan...
