Sorry, I should have been more clear. Building it in Objective C or C and not using a platform like appery.io

Livecode right for me?
I am trying to create an app that works just like Lynda(online video training). We have many training videos and we want to be able to organize them in categories and have premium users. Here are my requirements...are they doable in Livecode? I have developers telling me to do it natively and not us...
