Re: Unknown deployment platform
Hi Mitch - I thought you got this working? The Unknown deployment platform message generally occurs when there is no simulator selected from the "Development"---->"Test Target" menu and this occurs due to adding a new Xcode version, with the previous simulators no longer being present. That did it....

Re: Unknown deployment platform
Bump.
Yosemite here, 6.6.4 rc1.
In preferences, Mobile support is greyed out, so I have no way to point to XCode. Then in Development, Test target is greyed out as well.
Please help.
Thank you in advance.

That did it. Now the simulator works. Thank you Neil. N...

Re: Unknown deployment platform
Mitch & Rob Xcode 6.0.1 runs on Mavericks and I have LiveCode 6.6.4 building with it ok (I'm experiencing an issue with the iOS 8 simulator but - so far - things seem to be fine on an actual iOS 8 device) As far as I know Xcode 6.1 is not yet in general release so if you downgrade to Xcode 6.0.1 yo...

Re: Unknown deployment platform
I've downloaded 6.6.4 to OS X Yosemite GM. LC still does not recognize Xcode 6. Options are still grayed out. In the release notes, it is indicated 6.6.4 supports Xcode 6 on only OS X 10.9 Mavericks. (I thought Xcode 6 only runs on Yosemite?) I hope this gets fixed soon... Confirmed. 6.6.4 does not...

Re: dead in the water with ios 8
Mitch - I believe RunRev are working to put out a LiveCode 6.6.4 on Monday or soon after, and that this version - rather than the current 6.7 or 7.0 - will be the one that will allow building against iOS8 SDK and Xcode 6.0.1, and more importantly allow apps to be resubmitted to the AppStore again. ...

Re: Controls properties description ?
My concern is to find a description of existing properties for a particular control. But I guess I will have to figure that out from the inspector. In the Dictionary you can choose the object type from the left-hand pane and then sort the results by the Type field to find properties for that object...

Re: Controls properties description ?
This may not help with your specific need on the table field, but this tool provides a UI for viewing and ediing nearly every property of the selected object: http://fourthworld.net/revnet/devolution/4W_Props.rev.gz Thank you. But I get the following message when opening the stack :( There was an e...

Re: Controls properties description ?
Read about "the properties" er, property, in the dictionary. Thank you. I already had found this. My concern is to find a description of existing properties for a particular control. But I guess I will have to figure that out from the inspector. Now if you want to add the fancy stuff you mentioned,...

Controls properties description ?
Is there a description of every control properties and the way to change them ? I went to use a Table Field, and have already discovered how to set column widths with for instance "200,10,200,500" but simply experimenting is not convenient. For instance, how do I access each cell, is it possible to ...

iPad app stack size
I want to design an app for the current iPad Retina and iPad air, but am puzzled by the nature of the Retina screen , which distinguishes between the number of points 1024x768 and the number of pixels. I found this where all screen sizes are indicated http://www.iosres.com/ My question is : what siz...

Just installed 7.0 (rc 2) and looked in the release notes, but no mention of the pickerMikey wrote:Well, iOS 5.0.1 was released and then pulled. I think LC is shooting to have 6.6.4 out this week.

Re: Codesigning failed with iPhone developer: ambiguous (mat
Apparently, my question did not interest much. I assure you, when it happens, it is not fun  I finally fixed it this way : - Searched for my name in KeyChain, found an old obsolete certificate, * that was no showing otherwise * - Deleted it. I post this for others to find some help instead of a...

Codesigning failed with iPhone developer: ambiguous (matches
I am desperately trying to save as Standalone application. I have installed Apple developer certificate and verified XCode builds correctly. LiveCode 6.7 (dp7) I keep getting the dialog : --- codesigning failed with iPhone Developer : Michel Bujardet (number): ambiguous (matches 'iPhone Developer: M...
