Re: LC and transactions in MySQL
Hi, thanks for the reply. Yes, it's InnoDB. Probably I have reset the autocommit to "ON" somewhere in the scripts, or maybe it automatically returns to "ON". I will investigate further.

LC and transactions in MySQL
Hi I would like to understand something more about the transactions and use them to avoid anomalies in case of multiple concurrent operations. This LC script example, used with MySQL database, presents two problems: global gDataBaseID ......... put "START TRANSACTION; " into tSQL put "UPDATE Corsi "...

Re: Strangeness with "print card" command
Confirm that only by setting the two properties to false the print is OK.
I often use older versions of LC (even 4.6.4!) for having no problems.
So all that remains is to wait for the LC team to resolve the issue ...
Thanks
Sandro

Re: Strangeness with "print card" command
Ok. I attach the new stack (this time created on Windows 7 pro) with the features you proposed to me. In MacOs everything is regular: the content of the field is read (as in the one sent previously) while on Windows a series of black lines is printed instead of the names present in the field. At thi...

Re: Strangeness with "print card" command
Hi thank you very much Richard and Craig for the quick answers. In fact printing with PDF (on the Mac you do it regularly), the error does not appear and, as Craig says, on Mac everything is regular. Unfortunately the effect is not only produced on my printer but also on several I have tried. The gr...

Re: Strangeness with "print card" command
Hi
Ok. Here is the stack with the strangeness I was talking about. Pressing the 'print' button naturally
produces the print with the anomaly.
Thanks
Sandro

Re: Strangeness with "print card" command
Hi
OK thanks. I try to send it in .zip format. But does this also apply to a file of only 123kB?

Re: Strangeness with "print card" command
Hi
sorry for the delay with which I answer. I prepared the stack where the strangeness I was talking about happens. But I can't add the stack. I get an "invalid file extension" error when I try to attach the file. How can I do?
Thanks
Sandro

Re: Strangeness with "print card" command
I can't easily reproduce the stack because it is part of a further series of connected 'stacks'. Anyway, I'll try and send it as soon as possible.
Thanks
Sandro

Re: Strangeness with "print card" command
Hi
thank you for your reply. I tried to set white the "background fill" of table field as suggested (although I had already made some attempts to do so) but unfortunately the gray background always reappears. Also set white the "background fill" of the stack, but same results.

Strangeness with "print card" command
I have a printing anomaly on windows. From an LC 9.5 stack (and relative standalone) I try to print, with print card command, a simple registration form (which appears on the screen complete with all its contents) but in print I get the result of the attached image "img da Win1" (while image "img da...

Re: Standalone Database Issue
HI everyone no reply? Having failed to make clear in my previous post, I explain better. With one (or more) datagrid in a standalone everything works regularly (click, sorting, selection, etc.) But of course the data is not saved because the construction of the standalone always run with the techniq...

Re: Standalone Database Issue
It seems not to have understood the technique proposed in the post and probably the correct use of the data grid. I made several standalone projects working very well (and no problems) with (one) datagrid and Sqlite / MySQL without adding substack "Data Grid Templates Dud". I wonder: when you create...

Re: Newbe… which DB?
Hi Simon many thanks for reply and for the interesting links, there is always a lot to learn. My intention, however, is to use MySQL in a more immediate way. All this is based on four networked computers (in the same building), of which one has physically the DB reachable by three other connected as...

Hi ghettocottage
thanks for replay.
Giving a peek around about MySQL overall management requires a little more effort.
Anyway, I think I will have to swim in its waters ..
Best wishes
