PolyList and content-type = image-data
I've been trying to find information on how to use the PolyList and specifically the data type image-data , but I can't find any. Ideally I'd like to manipulate (rotate) an image before adding it to a specific item in the PolyList. Just for testing purposes, I've; - Added an image control, named "im...

Livecode Enhancements pack - "extension missing" - Solved
Hi, I have problems with the LC enhancements pack again that I cannot solve. I reinstalled LiveCode 9.6.9 without getting it to work. This is the error I get. Screenshot 2023-05-21 at 22.57.39.png And then it's stuck here and the only way to get out is to kill the LiveCode process. Screenshot 2023-0...

PolyList and variable itemHeight to fit text in an item
I'm trying to use itemPointer to change the itemHeight of an individual item in the PolyList, so it can fit the text in it (they all have a text . However, it seems to change all of the items in the list, not the individual item. This is the code I use for testing. set the itemPointer of widget "plL...

Re: Livecode Enhancements pack - error after update
Yes, I tried restarting it. I tried it with the v 10 DP that I have installed as well, to no avail.

Re: Livecode Enhancements pack - error after update
Not ideal, but I solved it by re-install LiveCode and the enhancement package.

Livecode Enhancements pack - error after update
I bought the LiveCode enhancement package last November. I just now started to use it (the "magic palette"), with LC 9.6.9-rc3. Now I tried to update it and I get this error. Any ideas on how I can solve it? I tried to install the older one, but that didn't help - I get the same error. Thanks and re...

Re: UserVoice to vote for features/bugfixes
This is how Cloudways are doing it; http://feedback.cloudways.com/
I just like the transparency of what is planned/started/completed regarding user requested stuff.
You’re right - Maybe it’s possible to use the polls here for it. Never tried it, yet.

UserVoice to vote for features/bugfixes
It's Christmas and one thing on my wishlist is for LiveCode to use UserVoice (or similar), where its userbase can vote for features/bugfixes important for them.
What do you think?
Merry Christmas!

Re: Barcode scanner recommendations?
If you want something that takes up less space, I can recommend using a mobile phone instead of a laptop, together with Bluetooth ring scanners.

Re: Is livecode dead?
Just a quick look at the number of blog posts on livecode.com;
2016: 51 blog posts
2017: 11 blog posts
2018: 3 so far...
If this trend will continue - what can we expect from LC next year?

Re: Is livecode dead?
Just a quick look at Xojo (which might be a bigger player - I don't know); - Very active social media (too many posts in August to count, both on Twitter/Facebook) - 4 blog posts in August alone - Currently running #JustCode weekly Challenge (with some prizes) It wouldn't require that much at all (I...

Re: Is livecode dead?
Just some observations this year; - Only 3 blog posts. - Last post on Facebook from May 23rd. - Have anyone heard about the results of the competition that was held earlier this year? - Last "Announcement" from LC here in the forum - nothing this year (last was in October last year). On the positive...

Re: "Save as Standalone App..." error containing revCreateMobilePlist
Aaah great, thanks a lot!
I thought it somehow was related to revCreateMobilePlist, and not too many things showed up when I googled it (only 1).
Have a great day!
