Mark, Nothing happens when I paste code you provided into script editor with the card number I want, nor when i type in script editor "set the number of this card to ..." that number. Is there something I'm leaving out of the code? I even closed ap and removed from memory, then restarted but that di...

Card Order
How can I change card order? Application browser shows a card number for each card in the order I created them. But I'd like to rearrange the cards in the stack. How do I go about doing that in Mac OS X?

Mark, I had a card id 29 so I changed it to 129 and problem with pointer cleared up. However, card ids in application browser do not match ids in card inspector. I'm working in Mac OSX.4.9 and when I change card id in card inspector, change is not reflected in application browser. Then again, my fir...

The problem with the Application Browser is mute: Browser was simply "disappearing" behind the card when I navigated to a new one. However, if I lock the Card Inspector, it continues to display card name and number for the card at which it was locked only. It does not change to display that info on ...

Changing order of cards in stack
Is there an easier way to move the order of cards around in a stack? On Mac, I open Application Browser from Tools menu to view Card IDs and Number in stack. I double click on a card to navigate to it, then select Card Inspector from Object menu to change card number. I have to keep going to menu ba...

RevStudio deletes images, and other glitches
Mark, Looks like I was mistaken. The images that fail to display when standalone ap is built are those that show a path in the Source field such as: ./data/images/refinery.jpg Where only the image Name is listed in Basic Properties of Inspector window with nothing designated in the Source field, the...

RevStudio deletes images, and other glitches
Mark, The problem occurs on my Mac PPC where the image files are located as well as on the WindowsXP PC where they are not. The problem is occurring when RevStudio builds the standalone ap. I have checked the file path in my stack by clicking on the folder icon next to the Source field in Basic Prop...

RevStudio deletes images, and other glitches
How do I solve problems with image deletion? I thought this problem was specific to Windows ap built on MacOSX using G5 PPC, but now notice that I have same problem on MacOSUniversal ap as Win ap. Images are stored in an Image folder within Data folder within Project folder. Stack is stored within P...

Problems with Win standalone created on PowerMac G5
I just tested a simple standalone ap I built for Windows on a PC running Windows XP, only to observe random glitches. On one card, the background picture was blank, as was another picture overlaying it. On all slides, my title text was shrunk really small and barely visible, while the text on other ...

Exporting for standalone use
I have Dan Schafer's book but still cannot find how to export for standalone use from Revolution Studio. I want to be able to copy a file to my flashdrive and test it on the computer at the college where I will be giving my lecture. I'm told that anything that can run on the computer from a CD/DVD r...

Formatting interactive project in RevStudio
Thanks for the link. I read over it and rather than scripting all my objects, I think I'd rather have the following scripted for preopen: 1) popup window that gives user option to reset monitor res to fit my design so images fill screen more, and 2) error message that will not allow user to run file...

CD standalone ap
Thanks Mark. I think I understand, otherwise please correct me if I'm not. I looked at the files that If Monks... installed and I now see that they are all just document files. I presume these were installed to make the product run faster as you say, so the media files don't have to be accessed from...

Formatting interactive project in RevStudio
Can someone please tell me if 640x480 is the standard format for interactive media and why? I have If Monks Had Macs, as well as 2 older cross platform discs from the mid to later 90s and all use that format. I'm really interested in producing for the interactive venue, and don't want to waste time ...

CD standalone ap
Mark, To produce a standalone CD product in RevStudio, is it necessary for any files to be installed on the PC? If Monks Had Macs installs a folder on the PC with a launcher (among other things) to run the interactive CD. I have an older interactive disc that bundles its product with HyperStudio4 Pl...
