Warning dialog after each lesson
Hi, I used to be on the Forums a fair bit back in the day when LiveCode was Runtime Revolution. I've had a long break not using the software, but am trying LiveCode to see if I can get back into it :-) I thought I'd start right at the beginning and try the built-in few lessons in LiveCode first. But...

Re: My first completed app; free plugin
Hi Mark I had a quick look; it seems to break down at setting the focus of the title field. I guess it can't focus the field because all of the title fields are locked. If you unlock the field, it all works OK. Which leads to me to wonder if there was a reason that I locked the fields in the first p...

Re: My first completed app; free plugin
Hi Barry I've put a copy of My Script Collector into Dropbox for you (and anyone else who'd like a copy of it): http://dl.dropbox.com/u/14060718/MY%20SCRIPT%20COLLECTOR%208.livecode.zip I'd be glad for you to host it on your website, thanks! (If you wouldn't mind putting my website address there als...

Re: My first completed app; free plugin
Hi Mark, are you still interested in the My Script Collector stack; or will you be writing your own?

Re: My first completed app; free plugin
Hi Bernd, long time no read! Hope you are well, and the rest of the community too. I haven't been using Rev (now LiveCode of course) for quite a while... my creative pursuits are elsewhere for now. All the best to you! I dug out a copy of My Script Collector. Hi Mark, you are welcome for a copy of M...

Re: Card Size
Hi Larry
Off the top of my head, try putting the following in the card script of the stack you want to size:
Should do the trick.

Playing sound with mouse down
Hi, I've an image, and when I drag a link to it, I would want it, amongst other things, to make a sound if the mouse is down, i.e if the mouse is "holding" the link. I can't work out why the following doesn't work though. on mouseEnter if the mouse is "down" then play audioclip "Bird-chirp (Red Lori...

Re: "Thirsting" for RevMobile but...
Thanks guys for the informative replies. These other cheaper alternatives that you mentioned I'll look into, although it might mean learning a different coding language which my l'il brain might not be up to (!) as well as not being Rev script based, where I feel relatively comfortable. Ah well, per...

"Thirsting" for RevMobile but...
Hi all. Long time no hear, hope all's well with everyone! :) I, like a lot of people I'm sure, have "iPad lust". And reading about RevMobile, am developing RevMobile lust! To be able to write and design progs for the iPad in particular (on the Mac platform, in my case) would be terrific. What will s...

@gyroscope Giovanni is NO spammer! How did you come to your conclusion? Hi Klaus, Giovannic had put a link on his post before he edited to delete it. I was in a bit of a rush today running through the sites I use a lot, Rev Forum being one of them. I quickly read the post, clicked on the link and w...
