LiveCode to build GUI for a command line tool
Can LiveCode be used to build a GUI for a Windows command line tool? I would like to make a simple GUI for ffmpeg for the commands I use frequently. I have tried other GUI's but none do exactly what I'm looking for. I was just wondering if LiveCode is an option for that. I haven't seen anything simi...

Re: Tutorial for debugging stacks that run in “Test” mode,
I understand exactly what you are saying. My app worked fine on the emulator but when I installed the apk on my phone and tablet everything was mucked up.

Save your work!
LiveCode is periodically force closing on my. When it does, it doesn't save the work I've done. The first time (before I learned my lesson about saving frequently) I lost several hours of work. Just a warning to my fellow noobs.

installing on android
I completed my first app with livecode. It works fine in the emulator but I can't install it on my Nexus 7. I keep getting "There was a problem parsing the package". The app is signed but still no luck. Any ideas?

Windows and IOS
If I have an app created in LiveCode on a Windows machine, is it possible to copy that app to a Mac and compile it for IOS or do I need to start all over?

Re: IOS app with Windows
I appreciate the reply. That sucks. It's not worth buying a mac for me right now. Maybe I'll build a hackintosh some day.Simon wrote:Nope...
It's an Apple thing, you must develop on a Mac for iOS.

Re: creating a work schedule program
Hi lithium630, My message to Craig was because the thread up to my post didn't contain any code, and there is a point not to add code until a specific coding question is asked. I think it was a legitimate question in the beginners section. Yes, perfectly legitimate, if I made you think otherwise I ...
