I'm on Windows 8.1 Livecode version 8.1 dp3.
When I try to load a video with a mp4 file extension with the new Directshow player, livecode completely shuts down. However, when I change the video's mp4 file extension to .mov the video plays fine. Can anyone confirm this?

2. No, MP4 work fine here in LC 8.1 dp3, same for MOV, AVI, MPG and MKV!
