Can't install LC 7.1dp1 on Mac OS 10.6.8

Anybody else try to install LC 7.1dp1 on Mac OS 10.6.8?
It will not install for me, something about a dynlib or something?
Is this a known bug, is LC 7.1 cutting support for 10.6, or should I file a bug report?

I also tried installing 7.1dp1 on a Mac running 10.9.5 and then copied it over to the Mac running 10.6.8 (to see if it was just the installer)
This resulted in crashing. Looks like something related to AVFoundation:
