ToolBox Brush Pattern Bug?

There is a possible bug in the toolbox for the "set brush pattern" icon. When I select this I just get the title bar of a window that reads "revBrushpopup" but doesn't display the brush shapes as it used to do. I am able to do "Command period" to get out of it. I tested this and got the same behavior in LC versions 9.6.11 as well as the new 10.0.0(d7). I am running on a silicon Mac with macOS Sonoma 14.1.2.

I have tried both of these versions of LiveCode on my intel iMac, running macOS Mojave 10.14.6 and I get the same title bar that reads "revBrushpopup" but with an interesting difference. On the intel machine the title bar I see includes a green window expansion decoration. When I click on the green button the window expands full screen width and I see the brush patterns. When I click the green button a second time the window reverts to the normal display of the brush patterns. On the silicon machine the window decorations are all dimmed.

I searched a bit but didn't see where this behavior might have been previously discussed. I hope it is fixed soon.

Thanks,
Mike

Confirmed here. LC hangs, mostly. A window pops up and CMD-period is the only thing that will indeed dismiss it, eventually but not reliably.

I am on a Mac Mini M2, Ventura, LC 9.6.9.

Thanks Jacque,

I had forgotten about this bug report.

I tried it now and what you can do is to go to the bottom of the title of the stack and enlarge it by dragging the bottom down with the mouse. Then the stack opens and you can dismiss it by choosing a pattern.
Tested using 10.0.0 DP7 on Monterey arm architecture.

Kind regards
Bernd
