Plugins folder? What Plugins folder?

All of the instructions I have seen about how to use a stack as a plugin says to simply place it in your "Plugins folder". I have Rev Media 3.0, and there is no Plugins folder. Do the Plugins go in the "Externals" folder?

hi mistfall,
in your application folder you have a folder revolution studio or media or enterprise depending on you version. In this folder you have a folder for the current distribution '3.0.0-gm-3'. In this folder you find a folder 'plugins'. That is the place to put a plugin if you want it to be accessible for all users. In your user folder you have in the documents folder a folder 'my revolution xxxx' (studio, media or enterprise). In this folder is a folder 'plugins'. If you put the plugin into this folder then only this user has access to the plugin.
This is on a mac, it should be very similar on windows.

Thank you for the help! But there is no "3.0.0-gm-3" folder. In my "Revolution Media 3.0.0" folder, beside the application icon, are the folders:
Documentation
Externals
Installation Data
Resources
stackstructure Folder
Supporting Materials
Third Party
Tutorial Stacks
In my user Documents> My Revolution Media folder there is only:
Icon Libraries
Video Tutorials
I wonder if the ability to host plugins is only supported by Studio or Enterprise?

hi mistfall,
sorry, I am using Studio. But in an older 'my revolution Media' folder there is a 'plugins' folder.
(you could try to put a 'plugins' folder into your my revolution Media folder and see what happens, but my feeling is that if Media 3.0 supported plugins there would be a folder)
Unfortunately I dont know whether Media 3.0 supports Plugins.
May be someone in the know will chime in.
greetings

Mine are in:
"C:/Program Files (x86)/Revolution Studio/2.9.0-gm-1/Plugins" and:
"C:/Program Files (x86)/Revolution Studio/3.5.0-gm-1/Plugins".
