I have just released
Devawriter Pro 3.5.0 for digitisation of Classical Indic languages.
https://www.dropbox.com/sh/2vgc1ei088hd ... QQjYa?dl=0
AND for all the nay-sayers "out there" is should prove to them that the fact that LiveCode no longer supports an
Open Source version, that Open Source version did not suddenly turn into a pumpkin "at the stroke of midnight".
I am hoping that the continuing development of
Devawriter Pro will attract sufficient donations that when
Livecode is available in a version with a Macintosh Silicon engine I can purchase a licence.

Those of you who are interested in Jain texts from about the 11th century C.E. onwards . . .
Or simply just feel an urge to write a letter to Mother in Classical Sanskrit.
I am thrilled to release version
3.6.0 of
Devawriter Pro:

Please be careful to install the NEW VERSION of the Devawriter.ttf font that contains these symbols.

As this is written using the Open Source version (9.6.3) version of
LiveCode, if someone wants a 'peep' at the code they should message me directly.

Version 3.9.2 Now allows for the implementation of
NUKTA in Devanagari.
https://www.dropbox.com/sh/2vgc1ei088hd ... QQjYa?dl=0
Currently working on
ISO 15919 IAST extensions for Latin transliteration of
NUKTA,
which is a slight headache as unified glyphs for those do not, on the whole, exist
in the Unicode standard.

What can I say?
The exciting news that
Version 3.10.1 has been made at the special request of the
Saiva Siddhanta to allow UNDERSCORE marks for mantra and sloka recitation in
Devanagari:

You will also see, from the screenshots how NUKTA signs in Devanagari
are now echoed by symbols in extended IAST.
