How to Optimize Code in LiveCode?

Hello everyone!!!
I am new to LiveCode and am looking for ways to optimize my code to improve application performance. Specifically, I would like to know how to handle repetitive code and optimize memory management in LiveCode. Also, are there any tools or methods to test and debug more efficiently? If you have any experience or useful documentation, please share.
Thanks a lot!

Welcome aboard.
The most lively and productive way to optimize code is to post a handler you feel could be improved. It probably can, and many will chime in with revised versions.

All.
I usually do not consider this, but is the OP a real person?
Anyway, if so, energeticboy, how much experience do you currently have with LiveCode?

That certainly does NOT strike me as the sort of question a brand new user would ask.

It is the way it was worded and framed that makes me think ChatGPT wrote it. But does that mean the person who commissioned that query is not looking for advice? Who would use LC as a vehicle to play around with AI text construction?

A person who, having got a hook into the LC forums wanted to play 'silly buggers' later on just because they can, like so many of the spammers.

The account's response to my prompt would likely answer the question.
