in order to update the dictionary entries, just copy the last api.sqlite from you last livecode installation.

Dear wsamples, ,However, the dictionary in LC 8 works in every Linux distro I have tested with the exception of openSUSE Leap 42.1 where the IDE fails to launch at all. (I find that it does work in the beta versions of Leap 42.2.) Mind you, I am only looking at distros that LiveCode does not officially support.
