Hi
I was told that with livecode, I should be able to create applications for windows phone 8 mobilephones. But this is not the case ?

OK, I read it was supported (in a computer magazine), so I downloaded the software and tried it out. But could not see anything related to wp8. Hope wp8 will be supported in near future

To clarify, Windows 8 (x86) is supported; it's Windows RT (the ARM compile) that's not yet available.keje wrote:Hope wp8 will be supported in near future
I understand the question was about phones so Klaus' answer is correct, I just wanted to possible misunderstandings from others who may drop in here about the desktop edition of Win8.
And looking further down the road, with WinRT sales so low and Intel's Broadwell line looking so promising, it may well turn out that the next edition of Windows focuses on x86 even on mobile devices, which would allow LC to support it with little additional effort.
