Probably a good idea to update. It became available about 36 hours ago and installing it has cleared the bug I had previously reported. It should offer increased stability over the other niggling issues that plagued Big Sur and LC.

I have been running MacOS 12 in all its "hairy" beta versions just because macOS 11 played merry hell with
