pulldown menu button doesn't match OSX or tool palette

Hi,

There is a standard Aqua pulldown menu button on the Rev tool palette, but when I try to place this button on a stack it changes into a non-Aqua Windows-style rectangle button (lacking even a pull-down arrow). The Aqua option button matches the tool palette but the pulldown doesn't.

I am making a simple Mac OSX application with a main menu in the form of a pulldown button. I want it to look Mac Aqua-like and the only button I cannot get to conform to this appearance standard is the main pulldown button.

If it isn't an Aqua style button, why does it look like one on the tool palette?

How can I create a resizable (length-wise) Aqua style pulldown button? (An imported graphic won't work when the stack is resized and I want the button to expand) Anyone else have this problem, or has anyone else figured out how to fix it?
