Retina MacBookPro HiDPI & browser presentation

I was very happy to hear that LC 6.6 comes with Hi-DPI support for Windows 7/8 and OSX. Using a Retina MacBookPro (1440 x 900, HiDPI), the difference in sharpness between the same stack opened in LC 6.5 and in LC 6.6, respectively, is amazing.
Here is the problem: I need to present html pages (with revbrowser commands) from within my LC stack. The pages contain simple text. However, text rendering within the browser window is very pixelated and blurred. The LC documentation says that on OS X the Safari browser is used. What is really strange: When I open the same html pages in Safari directly (not via LC), they look absolutely ok (sharp as expected by a Retina display). Obviously, LC has an effect on the browser display quality (?).
Are there any settings in LC that need to be changed in order to get a better resolution for browser presentations? Or is there something else I can do to improve the display quality?
Thanks a lot for any hints!
Susanne

Hi Susanne,

As the revBrowser is an external, it implementation will probably need to be updated to reflect the HI-DPI changes present in LiveCode 6.6. This is something our team would need to look into and I believe that there is no settings that you can alter to change the text rendering.

As this is the case, I would recommend filing a report with our Quality Control Team and they will be able to investigate the issue further. Our QC site is-
