I've got RevEnterprise on two boxes - one running XP, one running OS X Snow Leopard. The license was renewed in Dec '09.
On the XP box, a check for updates reveals the availability of 4.5.0-dp-1 (I am running 4.0.0 gm-1).
On the Mac, a check for updates doesn't reveal any updates to be available (I am running 4.0.0 gm-1). The last update it found was 4.0.0 dp-4.
I presume the releases are symmetrical, right? So it should be finding a 4.5.0-dp-1 for the Mac, too?
Other than the "check for updates" command from within the IDE, is there someplace I can go to find out the state of releases?
Thanks.
Ray

Re: Check for Updates not finding latest update
I hate replying to my own posts, but...
Went back into "manage versions" feature and selected 4.0-dp-4. Ran the "about Revolution Enterprise" dialog to verify it switched. Then I changed the "default" to 4.0 gm-1 and "Launched" it from there.
Closed the "manage versions" window.
Re-opened "About Revolution Enterprise". It was back to 4.0 gm-1.
Now, I don't recall checking for updates, but it suddenly announced that 4.5 dp 1 was available for download. (I must have checked for updates, right ?).
I had done some version of that sequence of events multiple times over the past week (yes, insanity is doing the same thing over and over again and expecting different results) because I could see the release on my Windows XP box and assumed there was just something flaky going on when the Mac checked the server.
So I've decided that in some cases, Revolution must have mystical powers. It detected that I'd put a post on the forum and so it decided that it better behave itself!
I'm not _sure_ there's a "bug" there, but this was funky. Sorry to waste the posts.

you bet they have mystical powers. They even help you with it as much as possible:So I've decided that in some cases, Revolution must have mystical powers. It detected that I'd put a post on the forum and so it decided that it better behave itself!
