Hi, LiveCode 5.5.3 is crashing on Linux Mint 13 Maya (32bit) with Cinnamon 1.4 window-manager,

I had no problems with 5.5.3 on Linux Mint 9, but 5.5.3 crashes on Mint 13 when clicking "Standalone Application Settings" or "Inspector" or "Code" and some other buttons,
but my 5.5.3 does NOT crash when clicking "Dictionary" button, like some other users have had problems with.

Switching to Gnome 2 window manager in Linux Mint 13 (when loggin out of system and choosing Gnome2 as windowmanager and logging in again using Gnome2) does not help, 5.5.3 still crashes like before.

Any suggestions, please help, thank you very much.

OK - coming a bit late to the party here, but LC 5.5.3 works fine for me on Linux Mint 14 Nadia 32-bit Cinnamon.
I realize that's not much help. You might try tossing your preferences file. Did you install as root or just as you?
