The "Coding Nine LiveCode Games" eBook is now finished and available to buy. You can find out more about it at the link.
http://livecodegamedeveloper.com/book.html
With nine games:
- Pong
Tetris
Dr. Eliza
23 Matches
Tower Jump
Lunar Lander
Text Adventure
3D Spider Hunt
3D Isometric Maze
This book demonstrates the clarity and power of LiveCode where code is shorter, and so quicker to develop, than other languages. Even if you don't make games, this is an interesting read for any LiveCode programmer.
Most games were coded in under 500 lines of LiveCode and are intended to demonstrate good technique and stimulate ideas for further development. I hope it inspires both new and experienced LiveCoders.

I've just bought a copy Scott - and seeing what you've written on your blog I'm betting that I'll be getting a really great experience.
Well done for producing the book - and for any other aspiring authors part-way through their LiveCode books - don't give up! We will want to read it!

Ohhh an e-book for download and to put in any device I own?
I'll buy it just to support this method that others *wink wink* don't do because they fear "piracy".
Great work

.
I'll see if I can pump out a game or two :p

Thanks njt.
I plan to write more LiveCode related books and the PDF format for this first one is bit of an experiment. While I can't promise to always use such a flexible format, if this sells well enough then I could use it again. Have fun with the games.
Cheers,
Scott.
