Not many have standalone LC10 licenses nowadays!

Yes, this is LiveCode Classic. The features/bugfixes that are included in this release will also appear in the upcoming release of LiveCode Create.

Is there a way to download a 10-day trial version of this?

Wait a moment: I though version 10.0.4 stable had been released in June last year:
