UPDATE REVBROWSER

Post by chriss9078 » Tue Dec 22, 2009 1:56 pm

I have been working on a project that uses the revbrowser external. It is becoming obvious that the external is flawed (for example disney.com says the browser is outdated), is there going to be an update or rewrite for this external in the near future?

It's my understanding that RevBrowser uses the built-in browser engine on the host machine; IE on Win and Safari (Gecko) in OS X.

I just tried disney.com in RevBrowser and got a notice about needing to update my Flash, but when I tried in Safari I got no such notice so it does appear as though RevBrowser's invocation of Gecko's JavaScript engine has some issue.

Have you written support@runrev.com? That may be a good next move. Please let us know if you resolve this.
