Starting iOS Development

Post by lohill » Wed Nov 12, 2014 1:41 am

If my computer is running Yosemite, is Xcode 6 what I should be downloading from Apple? I want to try some development for iOS 8. I'm brand new at trying this and have gotten past the first step of registering as an iOS developer.

Thanks,
Larry

Hi Larry

If you have Yosemite and you want to build for iOS 8 you will indeed need Xcode 6.1 (and at least LC 6.5) - strap in for the ride and have fun!

Kind regards

Dave

Thanks Dave. I followed your advice and am off and running (or at least walking).

Regards,
Larry
