Performing iOS device requires iOS 8.1 SDK

On March 12th I installed an update to my Xcode (ver 6.2). I didn't try to save anything as standalone app until this morning.
I am using LC 7.0.3 on a Macbook Air with iOS ver 10.10.2, and Xcode ver 6.2 supporting iOS 8.2.
I get the error saying I need iOS 8.1 SDK platform to be installed.
How can I revert to Xcode 6.1 or is there something else I need to do?
