Application Loader Difficulties

Hi all, I'm trying to upload my first app to the App Store.
I'm running LC 7.1.0.
LC points to xcode 6.4
My certificates, App ID's and Provisioning Profiles were generated with xcode 7.1
The Computer is MacBook Air OS X 10.10.5
Everything works swimmingly using development Profiles and Cert.
The Standalone builds with no errors With development cert and profile and installs and works on devices.
The standalone builds with no errors With Distribution cert and profile but the application loader wont let me select the built app.

Attached is the screenshot of my standalone settings.
What am I doing wrong?

OK, I had forgotten to Zip the file.
Zipped it and now I get a window that says
"Application Loader is currently unavailable."
We're having trouble connecting to the App Store. Please try again later.
No Suitable application records were found. Verify your bundle identifier 'com.jatyindustries.nfmprequal' is correct.

From the screenshot above it looks right to me.

Here are the steps I have taken.
I used a Distribution Profile to build the standalone in LC (7.1)
I signed in to iTunes Connect and added my app.
Went to the prepare for submission and filled out everything required. (I don't have any in app purchases)
I zipped the standalone file built by LC
when I try to upload it with Application Loader I get the
"Application Loader is currently unavailable message
shown in the attached screen shot.

Thanks Neil, Logging into iTunes connect I see the Prepare for submission button. I have filled out everything. I don't find anything letting me set the status to "waiting for Upload"
