Deployment question

Good afternoon folks.

I'm wondering if I develop an iOS application that is only internal to my organization, do we have to deploy to the App Store or can we simply deploy to individual iPhones? I get you need a Mac to compile the app but we do not want to sell, it is only for internal use. Thanks. Jack
