PDF Printing and iOS in 4.6.1
LC 4.6.1 build 1390 has an iOS standalone checkbox for a "PDF Printing" External, and the iOS release notes state "Added support for pdf printing" for 4.6.1-rc-1. Unfortunately, building a standalone with this option enabled results in an app bundle that includes revpdfprinter.dylib but is missing the _CodeSignature folder. XCode will not accept this, and copying the _CodeSignature folder from an identical standalone build without enabling PDF Printing causes XCode to reject the app with an invalid signature warning. I assume that this iOS release was not based on rc-1 and that PDF Printing is coming, but does anyone have a workaround that will get XCode to accept an app bundle that includes revpdfprinter.dylib?
Re: PDF Printing and iOS in 4.6.1
I would like to hear more on this topic as I feel like I hit a brick wall with the apparent lack of printing capabilities in the Livecode iOS. If there is no way to directly print a printer, print to PDF might meet my needs. Maybe if I could print to PDF, the PDF file could be opened outside of Livecode for printing to a printer?

sylvanr,
PDF printing works (with some issues- see http://forums.runrev.com/viewtopic.php?f=49&t=7451), but the only way I know to get the PDFs onto paper is to save them in the "documents" special folder which syncs with iTunes, then move them out of iTunes for printing, use in other desktop apps, etc. I suppose you could also email the PDF and then print it. I'm sure integration with AirPrint is on the list of planned Livecode iOS additions. Until then, getting the PDF onto a desktop machine is the only option I know of.
