I'm not currently a LC developer, but I am evaluating framework solutions to support cross-platform development principally for iOS and Android. I was wondering if there is a more detailed FAQ somewhere about the current limitations and expected feature updates for 2012?
I'm aware of the pages such as the iOS supported features and FAQ on the main site, but it doesn't go into enough detail.
While the info is quite good, what concerns me is the paragraph on limitations...
"Will my apps look native in the final version?
The first version of this deployment pack has only limited native elements, which includes scroll views and pick wheels. We will be adding additional native controls over the coming weeks and months. A full range of application theme and skinning capabilities is included in this version so you can create beautifully skinned applications, multimedia and customer user experiences."
Lack of native look and feel would be a show stopper for most of the apps I'm interested in doing. I expect there are some workarounds that people have come up with, so I would also be interested in that kind of info.

Re: limitations and coming features FAQ?
I've been using Livecode, back then Metacard, before that Supercard before that Hypercard for boy, 20 years...It's as easy as it gets.
Look and feel is what you make of it; Png transparencies. nice backgrounds. buttons, that I custom make using drop shaows, dissolve, flip effects. I don't care for the Standard controls for iphones or android as they are pretty generic looking, esp for children's apps. All I know is my apps dissolves, scrolls, flips, picks, nice sound effects, easy 2d animations.
I would say, download it for free and use it for 30 days.

Looks like we'll have to wait until the end of the month.
