iPhone Settings
I need to use the 'Settings' iOS app to set some preferences for my app. I haven't a clue how to do this (my 1st app). Any help is greatly appreciated.
Re: iPhone Settings
Hi
This requires an external and it's one of the ideas I have on the mergExt poll. I have an alpha version already but theres always higher stuff polling so I haven't finshed it off and documented for release. What's your timeframe?
Cheers

Re: iPhone Settings
Do you really need to use the Settings app? If not (e.g. if you can let users change preferences from within your app), Apple may reject it. Read the section called "De-emphasize Settings" in the iOS Human Interface Guidelines.
Re: iPhone Settings
I've now added the Settings app integration external I was talking about. See http://mergExt.com for more info if you are interested.

Re: iPhone Settings
Thanks so much for the update. I appreciate it.
Re: iPhone Settings
You're on quite the roll Monte! I hope iCloud is up next. After that, could you find a way to keep LC built apps running in the background?

Re: iPhone Settings
I'm not sure about iCloud just yet. It's clear from my polls that people want it but I need to weigh that against it's likelihood of being a high priority for RunRev. There's other stuff that I'm more sure is off the RunRev hit list that I'm looking at.
