Re: Which version of XOCDE should I use with Live Code 5.0.2
0Hi, I downloaded and installed Xcode 4.3. I am using Licensed version of Live Code 5.0.2. I click on preference and mobile support and choose the location for iOS Sdk. When I choose the application folder then all the folders including XCode are in grey color.. (except utilities folder)
So I can not choose XCode.. It is really pity that things are not well documented regarding versions.
I hope i do not need to install any iOS SDK.. and by default Xcode 4.3 must have installed it.. (it was more than 1.4 gb)
DO I need to use older version of XCode? Please guide me

Namaste Pradeep,
the current version of XCode, which can be installed via the Mac Appstore,
is not compatible with LiveCode version < 5.5x!
1. Try to find an earlier version of XCode, should be somewhere on the Apple site.
2. Upgrade to LC 5.5x, if you can afford, alone the new field features are worth this

Hi, Thanks for your response. Which version of Xcode would be compatible with Live Code 5.0.2?
Yes I can surely upgrade to 5.5. but I have to be careful because once I upgrade then it would not open on others..

You can also save stacks in "old" format (compatible with version < 5.5) in LiveCode 5.5x!
