Can't add xCode to LiveCode

Hi all,

I'm a beginner to iOs.
I tried to connect xCode to LiveCode.
I tried in LiveCode:
Preferences --> Mobile Support --> Add enry --> (Clicked on the button) 4.3 or later (I downloaded xCode 5)
xCode is situated in my Applications folder; I selected xCode.

Then I got the message: " The chosen folder is not a valid iOS SDK".

After OK nothing happens.

My iMac has OS 10.8.5 installed.

Can anyone help me?

Hi Joop,

This error will occur when you try to add Xcode to an unsupported version of LiveCode.

Xcode 5 support was introduce in LiveCode 6.1.2 (RC1) with the latest version being LiveCode 6.1.2 (RC3)

You will be able to download this version from here-

I'm having the same problem. But I'm using LiveCode 6.5.0 (3009) on machine running OS X 10.9

Any suggestions?

Yea me too. I am using Commercial version 6.5 and X-code 5.02. Not a valid SDK message is popping up. Did you get it resolved?

@FireWorx - yes I fixed it. I think you need to reinstall LiveCode from scratch but after installing Xcode 5.0.2

It seems that LiveCode is 'sensitive' to the version of Xcode you are using. With Xcode 5.1 installed, I simply couldn't add it to LiveCode. I found and installed a copy of Xcode 5.0.2 and still could not add it. So I removed all traces of LiveCode and installed it again, and when I did I found that it had automatically added the Xcode 5.0.2 library to the configuration.

Although it appears to let you nominate the source of your libraries (with all the "add library" stuff) all that appears to be just distracting noise when it comes to Xcode.
