Bump.
Yosemite here, 6.6.4 rc1.
In preferences, Mobile support is greyed out, so I have no way to point to XCode. Then in Development, Test target is greyed out as well.
Please help.
Thank you in advance.

Re: Unknown deployment platform
Hi Mitch - I thought you got this working?
Dave
Did you by any chance upgrade your Xcode from 6.0.1 to 6.1.0? If so try upgrading your LC to 6.5 and set the 'mobile support' again (and check your test target/simulator as well)michel_bujardet wrote:That did it. Now the simulator works. Thank you Neil. Now I need to get the program on the device. Will try to follow http://livecode.com/developers/guides/mobile/ios/runrevneil wrote:The Unknown deployment platform message generally occurs when there is no simulator selected from the "Development"---->"Test Target" menu and this occurs due to adding a new Xcode version, with the previous simulators no longer being present.

I downloaded and installed 6.7.1 RC2, reset the Mobile support path, and everything is OK now.
Thank you Dave.

Re: Unknown deployment platform
Glad you got it working again - in the next week or so I have to get set up with Android so expect I'll be in a similarly stressful situation getting that working
