thanks for pointing that out, I try to not write anything cynical but I am still unsure as before concerning iOS and respective documentation?

I don't know about specific IOS functions, that would send a SMS.

However, here is a method I used with LC desktop, with a SMS provider and web API.

It's very simple and effective.

I understand that is via internet service, analog to doing that with email when automatic sending, I was more wondering about doing this from device (even if that is not automatic)

so is it possible or not to send sms?
(I got bashed for my effort finding out but an answer I did not get, at least not that I do remember concerning sms, a bit stressed. Why no clear info on that by RunRev?)
