I have installed Xcode 4.3.3 and ios5 simulator. If I go to Xcode-->Preferences--downloads it says that IOS5 Simulator is installed.
When i go to LiveCode-->Preferences-->Mobile Support, the loc of the dev. root for 4.0 says /Developer but the one for 5.0 is blank. I can not put anything into it.
When I follow the path in the doc. it finds 4.3 but not 5.0. Where is 5.0??

Re: Can't find ios5 SDK platform
The Xcode 4.3 is by default downloaded to your applications folder I believe. I think you can click on the button to the right of the blank box in the preferences/ mobile support and navigate to Xcode there. Then your 5.0 root location may very well say: /Applications/Xcode.app/Contents/Developer
Thats what mine says. I am on a MAC. Hope this helps

Re: Can't find ios5 SDK platform
Thanks, that worked but now it asks for a positioning profile.
I signed up as a free developer. I am not ready to publish my app to the app store. I just want to test it out and work with the iPhone simulator. Do I have to sign-up as a full fledged developer to do that?
How do I set up a positioning profile? (It can be with an earlier version of the IOS, if need be). I just want to be able to use the iPhone simulator to work on my app for an iPhone
Thank you for helping me.

Yes, you need to sign up. Apple says if you don't pay, you don't play.
