Not many people read the announcements forum so people might miss that now the free externals that come with the iOS sdk have been compiled the same way I do with the rest of my externals and are available for free download from http://mergext.com. Just sign up for a free account and you can download.
This video explains the format I use and how it supports multiple versions of LiveCode etc.
