Anyone have any experience with incorporating Flurry (http://www.flurry.com) app usage analytics into their IOS apps built with LiveCode? I'm looking for ideas on how to go about accomplishing this at compile time with Xcode and the app builder.
Having this kind of capability is very compelling.
Any other similar experiences?
Regards,
John

Hi,
The Flurry front page doesn't contain a sentence starting with "Flurry is....". Therefore I have no clue.
Kind regards,
Mark

Re: Any Experience with Flurry???
Hi John
I recently had a request about flurry. Anyway the people over at flurry seem to want to make it difficult for me to use their sdk. From their terms of service:
You are hereby granted a nonexclusive, limited, non-transferable, revocable and non-sublicensable license to install, use, copy and distribute the Agent solely as necessary to use the Services and Platform pursuant to this Agreement for applications that you own and control.
So I can't create an release a flurry external for the community even though it doesn't look like it would be complicated to do. Based on the above it doesn't even seem legit for me to implement it as a consultant because I would not 'own and control the application' so if you really want flurry then you will need to download the externals sdk and DIY.
If you are interested in Google Analytics I should be able to help you there. The first request I had is contemplating going that route too.
Cheers
Monte

I did, Monte. The web site pops up and it doesn't contain an explanation.
