Cut Paste Copy in Text Field...huh?

I just realized that when I type in text into a text field....on the simulator or the iphone/pad, I can't just hold down on the text and have the "copy paste" buttons pop up like in the Note Pad or other apps.....is there a way to copy and cut text in a text field on iOS devices?

Use a UITextField or UITextView multiline control... iOS Release notes p.70.

Thanks Dixie. Will have to adjust to a whole new way to think about fields, it's finally sinking in a bit.
