iOS Image Function

Hi All,

I want to expand on an image function I have within one of my Apps.
The user currently selects to import an image from the device (camera,library etc) and this is placed into an image area that is within a scrolling group,
due to screen size constraints the image area is not very large and makes it hard to see.

I want to give the user the ability to press on that image area and the image area increases in size to the full screen. From here they should also be able to zoom in/out using pinch etc.

Pretty much looking to get the same functionality that the iOS Photos App has..
