One app goes onto iPad and another doesn't!!!!!

I've created two apps with LC 5.5.4
I have Xcode 4.6
One app exports as standalone app and loads on my iPad just fine. The other one has the same standalone settings except for the app identifier and it won't go onto my iPad no matter what I try! When I drag it over to my applications in Xcode the light never goes to yellow and nothing ever happens. I know it's possible because I can do it with the first stack but not this second one! I for the life of me can't figure it out. Any ideas?

update - when I tried to do it via airlaunch just now it said "This doesn't appear to be an iOS app" but i've created it exactly the same way as the other - saved as standalone iOS app

Make sure the second App Identifier is included into the Profile your are building with...

That AirLaunch error means there is something wrong with the plist file; in particular, no name is listed for the app.
