Is there a place on this site where I can find out more about in app advertising? I haven't been able to find it. I finally figured out how to find out how many downloads there have been on my free app, and was rather shocked to see the number was almost 10,000. I think it's time to try to make some money on this. Thanks for any help!!!

I can't seem to break into "Inneractive" for in app advertising. Apparently, I'm already registered, but my request to reset my password doesn't result in an emailed link to do that, unfortunately. I've tried several times. Thanks for the link, though, Richard. I'm sure something will eventually come through.

Gerry, thanks for asking!! It's called Scales Tutor. If you click on that tiny button with a globe icon underneath my name on the right side, it will take you to the website. I'd love for you to be number 10,001 :)

Hey guys

Does any of you have previous experience making iOS applications specifically for iPad?

If you know how to make an app, please let me know. Basically what I want to do is convert a PowerPoint presentation into a single application basically, just an app based on slides.

Thanks

Gerry, I just realized I never answered your post! The App is called "Scales Tutor" and by now you would be #15,001 :D Thanks for your interest. Now I really must find a way to make some money from this. I hope In App Advertising will be fruitful as I plan to investigate it again.

Heh thanks.

I don't made paid apps, nor do I use in app advertising. My understanding is that in app purchasing makes more money for the average app. So if there a new feature you can add that would make existing users and new users pay to get?

That's something to consider, Gerry. It would have to be pretty spectacular, I guess, as people seem to be quite spoiled and will expect a lot for .99. If I decide on going that route, I might be back with more questions on just how to do it :)
