I no this has been asked numerious times probally but how do i recreate a basic control such as list view or tab bar with the comunnity edition also is it possible to connect directly from a mobile app to sql server without webserver reason being we need to be able to give an employee access to say request leaeve and then a manager to approve it is this possiible

Yes it's possible. But you really should work through the LiveCode lessons on iOS and things like data grids and then come back with more specific questions. We really can't walk you though all the steps required to implement what you are asking.
