Successful launch of LiveCode iOS app

I am proud to announce that our latest LiveCode development has successfully passed the review of the Apple Store and hit the top charts within 24 hours.

The app is a variant of Pairs/Concentration for children, where the matching pairs do not look and sound alike, but have to be matched by some linguistic rules. We produced this game for the German newspaper "Süddeutsche Zeitung", adopting their paper version of the game.

Within 24 hours the app made it to rank 2 and 3 in the children and education categories and rank 26 in all paid apps of the German app store. This is due to some serious marketing efforts.

We used LiveCode 6.5.2 and XCode 5.1. The review took 11 days. Development time was 6 weeks. All graphics were produced in Adobe InDesign and then exported as PNG. All graphics were produced in Retina resolution.

This was the smoothest development job we had in the last 12 months :wink:
