Is there a way to send text from a LC iOS app directly to the Apple messages app?

Or, is there a way to send text directly from an LC app to someone's Apple Messages app?

In iOS apps like Notes.app or Mail.app or Safari.app one can:
select text
choose Share from the popup menu
choose Message from the Share menu

Does the newer LC version 8 have Native text fields that will perform the same way?

IOW - is there a current version of LC that features text fields that will display the Share Menu (including "Message") when one selects text in that field?
