I'm coming down to the last few days of my trial period and want to figure out this last question before the trial period ends. I realized that Standalone applications created with LiveCode are read-only. I found the topic at http://forums.runrev.com/phpBB2/viewtop ... =32&t=1124 which was helpful and followed the link to http://livecodejournal.com/tutorials/sa ... ution.html and created a substack and was able to save the database again that way and so now I open the mainstack and then have a button that opens the substack which is not saved in the application. So my final, final question is about how this will work in the iphone OS?? When the master stack opens, and you click on the button to go to the substack, will the substack replace the mainstack on the screen??

I have not tested this by myself, but since the iDevices are ONE window devices, I doubt this will work!

I would :
...
go stack "substack" in window of stack "mainstack"
...
This requires that both stacks have identical dimensions, but should not be so hard to do
