Physics engine for LC/iOS?

Post by ctflatt » Thu Jan 20, 2011 11:17 pm

Is there a physics engine available for LC compatible with iOS deployment?

Curious...

I don't know about physics, I haven't seen any well know ones but you might try Animation Engine in the RunRev store.

Hope this helps,

Danny

Thanks, Danny.

I already have AE, and have posted the question to Malte in the AnimationEngine forum.

I'll keep this thread updated with his response.

Hello All,

As far as iOS physics engines, I heard of (but never used) Cocos2D/Box2D and Chipmunk. May be calling these libraries as externals provides the resources needed.
Sorry I can't offer further advices, I'm just getting started with LiveCode and AE4.
May be Malte Brill can pull it out from his hat, and add the hooks to AE4.

Regards,

Tom
