Using an iPhone or iPad

Hi

I am thinking of buying LiveCode so that I may develop applications to run on my iPhone or iPad.
At this stage I have no intention of marketing my apps. They are purely for my own benefit.
My question is - I will be using a MacBook to develop the app. Can I transfer it to a 'real' device (iPhone or iPad) without registering with Apple, paying them money for liscenses etc.? I just want to be able to run it on my own device.

If this can be done, how can I find out how to do it? I have downloaded the LiveCode manual, and can't find anything about transferring my apps to a real device.

Thanks for reading, and I look forward to any replies.

Mark, in London.

Hi Mark,

you definitvley need an Apple iOS Developer account to transfer your app to your iDevice!
Maybe this is not neccessary with a "jail-broken" device, but I have no experience with that.
